Friends of Winton Hills Academy partnered with MindPeace to create a special space for the teachers and staff of Winton Hills Academy. A MindPeace Staff Room is a self-care retreat for staff to prevent burnout and secondary trauma. Staff that are mindful and centered are better equipped to provide excellent education and care for the students.
Thank you to Sycamore Capital for funding 50% of the expense of the room. On Tuesday February 25th we held an 'official' ribbon-cutting event, with a small group of students, teachers, support staff, MindPeace rep and FOWHA Foundation members.
