Three days and two nights in Indianapolis, May 2025, were packed full of growth experiences for 5th and 6th grade students. They traveled in-style on a charter bus. First stop was Conner's Prairie where they experienced a working farm. They visited three museums - IPS Crispus Attucks Museum, NCAA Hall of Champions and the renowned Children’s Museum of Indy. The Greater Cincinnati World Affairs Council asked Joe Wilmers, a long time member of WAC and founder of Friends to Winton Hills Academy, to host a 12-member delegation from Africa on November 5th, 2024 to learn about how we support children at risk.
